This event has ended.

Uriel Marín was born in Córdoba, Veracruz in southeastern Mexico in 1981. He studied Visual Arts at the University of Veracruz. His artistic activity is focused on the investigation of graphic techniques, ceramics, and drawing. In his artistic career he has had exhibitions in Mexico, U.S.A, Germany, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Spain, Korea, and Japan. Given his interest in woodcut, the Japanese prints of Ukiyo-e motivated him to travel to Japan for the first time in 2011. The impact of this trip was so profound that he decided to return the following year. This contact with Japanese culture has inspired his artistic production as the creative process is the most immediate way the artist finds dialogue with his surroundings.
