This event has ended.

Japanese glass began in Nagasaki and traveled from there to Osaka and Edo, becoming beloved by the Japanese people along the way for the richness it adds to everyday life with the special way it sparkles in the sun. It was even given as gifts to feudal lords. The late Norisato Daito, founder of the Bindeisha Vidro Diamante Glass Museum at Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, spent 50 years seeking out the most exquisitely beautiful works of Japanese glass. In line with his wishes, the Miho Museum presents important works from the Bindeisha Collection.
