This gallery building, Riran's Gate, is one of the major works of prominent architect, Tadao Ando. It serves as both an exhibition space and salon for the interplay of various genres, people and activities. The gallery hosts more than 30 annual exhibitions, emphasizing on contemporary artists that are both well known and those who are up-and-coming. In addition, the gallery has also invites international artists from countries around the world.
