KAB イベント - ロス・ウィルタネン 展

Enter into the mind of Ross Wirtanen. We can appreciate in this exhibition a range of Wirtanen's works in various media. The central focus is an installation of more than 80 small pen and coffee on paper paintings. These work as a type of document, a journal or diary in which some themes and motifs reoccur with frequency. One is compelled to examine each of the images and ask questions about their contents. Wirtanen's conceptual work is complimented by an ongoing, daily performance by the artist, in which additional information is created for the pieces. Wirtanen plays with popular culture references before you even enter the gallery. His poster design out front links him and a famous coffee brand seamlessly and humorously.
