This is a world where no children are allowed...
When we encounter signs that say "adults only" or "only 18 and over," they indicate a border between adulthood and childhood. However, dividing who is an adult and who is a child by age seems conceptually absurd. Yet, what lies in the world of adults may range from eroticism, pornography, nudes and sexual jokes, to humor, luxury, pleasure, social events, and hobbies that can only be understood by a true adult.
At 10W Gallery, as part of the Peace Summer 2007 event, the "18 and Over" event will be held featuring illustrations, paintings, photography, cartoons and sculptures.
