"Changing Traditions: Creating Contemporary Art from Tradition -Featuring Japanese and Australian Contemporary Artists" Exhibition

The exhibition, previously displayed in Australia, will feature works by contemporary textile artists who are influenced by traditional kimono techniques. The exhibition has two themes, "shibori" and "embroidery". The 16-person exhibition explores how Japanese tradition has influenced artists both at home and abroad.
