In 1873, Japan participated in the Vienna World's Fair for the first time. At the fair, Japanese crafts and metalworks received wide interest. The exhibition will feature works by Natsuo Kano (1828-98), Shoumin Unno (1844-1915), Katsuhiro Kagawa (1853-1917), and Shoukyou Tsukada (1848-1918), who were prominent metalworkers of the time.
