From the ancient to the modern, and now, to the contemporary, Osaka is a city woven with a diverse history. Until now, it has left subtle traces in its environment. Both the ancient palace to the modern architecture possess strong characteristics and remind us of the deep history of Osaka.
Osaka Art Kaleidoscope 2008 features works by artists who have been inspired by the different times and social stages of Osaka. Through a collaboration between artists and historical landscapes, the exhibition aims to commemorate and bring light to the future.
