This event has ended.

In ancient China, bronze vessels were used for rituals and symbolized power. The vessels were used in various ways; they were musical instruments as well as plates and cups. The vessel designs were highly diverse and ranged from the simple and practical to the overly ornamental. In addition, the vessels contained patterns with letters, which were the original forms of Kanji, and they have offered important historical information to researchers.
Over a period of 1000 years, the motifs, lettering and designs on the vessels have changed. This exhibition, consisting of 4 parts, will allow visitors to visualize this transition.
