The exhibition explores the Office for Osaka City Modern Art Museum's international collection of furniture, graphics, photographs and reference sources, as well as the National Museum of Art, Osaka's painting and poster collection. A total of approximately 160 works will be on display.
The exhibition will look at the relationship between the following art movements: The Arts and Crafts movement in England, Art Nouveau in France and Belgium, the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshops) of Austria, German Bauhaus, De Stijl in the Netherlands, Russian Constructivism and Finnish North European design.
