This event has ended.

The "Gold Storage House" is an acknowledged as a cultural heritage building regarding its use during the Edo period as a storage unit for gold. The architecture has been specially designed to withstand fire, prevent crime, and tolerate the extremely humid Japanese weather. In the Edo period, the "Gold Storage Houses" were built in Edo castle and Osaka castle, and smaller versions were also placed in Kyoto and Kofu. However, this storage house is the only one that has been preserved until now.
