After WWII, the "All-Kansai University Students Photography Association" gained support from Asahi Shimbun and Fuji Film and held exhibitions through 1948 until 1960. However, after its prominent years, the trend of university students taking art photography diminished. The four-university association (composed of Kansai University, Kansai Gakuin University, Doshisha University, and Ritsumeikan University) alumni still take pride in their association.
