The first Independent Exhibition was held in Paris in 1884, as a movement to reject the power, status, academia and business influences to one's artistic expression. To honor this movement, CASO celebrates it through the Contemporary Art Independent CASO exhibition that has been held annually since 2002. This year will be the sixth in the series.
