Kayo Ume, recipient of the 2006 Kimura Ihei Award, has her first photography book "Umeme" on sale, and has attracted various people's interest. For this exhibition and book (of the same title), she collaborates with the Shin Meikai Japanese Language Dictionary to create a visual combination of word and meaning. Slightly strange, incomprehensible and funny, the exhibition will have photographic panels from the newly released book.
