The project "Horizontal/Vertical" is an experimental media art project that plays with the horizontal and vertical motifs of the world. Through the bio-feedback system, the viewer sees a digital image responding to the state of his/her brain waves and experiences a dynamic interaction between the brain and perception. Gestures such as one's body position, rhythm of respiration, and eye movements change the brain waves and thus, influences the projected image.
"Horizontal/Vertical" shows the relationship between one's physical condition and mental condition through a scientific system and a fantastical space.

まず、とても興味深い経験でした！
額と耳たぶに脳波を読み取る装置を着け、見ている人の反応によって繰り出される映像が変わるとのこと。壁一面の美しい景色にリラックスしつつ、次はどんな展開になるのかワクワク。ときどき自分の脳波の動きも気になる・・・。
難しいことは考えず、画面の中を旅するように楽しみました。
