Futaishi's portraits of well-known people capture not only the subject, but the relationship established between the photographer and subject. Futaishi establishes an appropriate distance with his subjects; he does not investigate their life too deeply nor distance himself too far. This exhibition features about 20 portrait photographs of a blind musician Koshi Kinoshita, which were taken for Kinoshita's album covers and books. This is an excellent opportunity for those who think about taking photographs of live performances and portraiture. Kinoshita's album will be playing in the background, and CD and relating books will be on sale.
