Haruhiko Shimauchi "Mexico, Sonora, Landscapes"
Osaka Nikon Salon
This event has ended.
Sonora state is in the north of Mexico, bordering with the United States. 7 years ago, the photographer visited a friend there and while traveling down the highway that runs through the state from north to south, he discovered a Mexico that differed completely from the average Japanese person's image. Amidst the desert, he found towns from the Spanish colonial period. This exhibition brings out the atmosphere of those towns through 60 black and white photographs.
