This event has ended.

Various rituals took place during a Daimyo (feudal lord)'s life in the Edo period. Garnitures for these rituals added gorgeousness and symbolized prestige. They were used on a daily basis as well to show the Daimyo's sophisticated taste.
This exhibition features these garnitures including the ones brought to the 14th Daimyo of the Hikone Clan Naonori Ii for his wedding.
