This event has ended.

Last year, the museum held the “When ‘Reality’ Pops Out From Textbooks” exhibition, which was designed for parents and their children. This year, the exhibition focuses on the history of Kobe port and its surroundings.
In addition to learning about the port, visitors will also be exposed to highlights from the museum collection. There will also be a temporary classroom set up in the hall on the first floor, where workshops for both parents and children will be conducted.
Films that capture scenes from Kobe in the early Showa period, as well as animated stories of the battle between the Minamoto and Taira clans will be shown. Children can also follow a printed guide that will take them through the exhibition.
