This event has ended.

Yukio Fujimoto is an artist who questions the meaning of listening and looking by using musical box-like devices. During the exhibition period, exhibitions will be held simultaneously in Osaka and Kobe as part of Fujimoto's "Listening Field Trip" series (2007). The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama, presents two exhibitions that focus on the theme of "relations." The "Fujimoto and" exhibition will introduce works that were inspired by literature, as well as works that emerged from a collaboration with a writer. There will also be an installation piece that uses works from the museum collection. At "Happy Conceptual," Fujimoto has collaborated with artist Tomoko Sugiyama, who has presented large installations with sculptural paintings, and has dealed with the topic of houses since the 1995 Hanshin earthquake.
