This event has ended.

Thousands of years ago, Central and South America had three major empires built by the Aztecs, Incas and Mayans. The exhibition will feature approximately 220 pieces found in these empires with additional video references. For each civilization, the exhibition will focus on a specific theme. The Mayan empire will be introduced through the theme of "Kings and Wars," the Aztec empire through "Gods and Rituals," and the Inca empire through "People and Culture." Thousands of years ago, people from Asia found new land and built a rich civilization. Exhibited works include Mayan masks made from jade, gold accessories and mummies from Inca, and artifacts from Machu Pichu that will be exhibited in Japan for the first time.
