This event has ended.

Distancing themselves from the chaotic world, Chinese literary figures believed that people should live in nature with art and philosophy. Sitting in their study surrounded with stationary that pleased their aesthetic senses, they produced art that contributed greatly in the development of Chinese art. This exhibition features the artists' favorite writing materials to observe ideal beauty. Their pure and elegant aesthetics are reflected not only in their art, but also on Sencha, Maccha, flower arrangements (Ikebana) and traditional incense-smelling (Kado). Such aesthetics have also influenced Japanese culture.
