This exhibition displays artists' original photo prints alongside their photography books. Although the experiences of just looking at prints and turning over pages differ, viewers are pulled in strongly by both to the artists' concepts. The show includes three photographers from Kansai area: Akito Tsuda attempts to visualize the strength of photography through the series "Street Cats" and "Maxwell Street"; Yasuko Noguchi recently published the book "Cherry Person" in Vacuum Press Vol.3 this spring; and Yukihiro Higashiyama, whose documentation of a seaside fortification, "Emperor's Fortress", reveals his tenacity and energy. The exhibition also includes an emerging photographer from Tokyo, Hayato Wakabayashi, whose work "Luncheon on the grass" was recently selected for Nikon Salon Juna 21.
