"Leaving for a journey. The destination of this journey is fixed, however this is not only the "journey" of going to the destination, but also the "process" of arriving there. The landscapes pile up layer upon layer like lacquer work. This train journey of tracing the outline and shape of Japan, from now it will continue for a while."

今日ギャラリーへ行くと、内野さんのお父様とお母様が
迎えてくださいました。
内野雅文さん本人は、今年の元旦に、
京都での撮影中に心筋梗塞でお亡くなりになられています。
思わず、車窓の奥を覗き込んでしまう、
電車の外に露出を合わせて撮影された写真たち。
その手前に浮かび上がる乗客のシルエットにも、
この人はどんな人なんだろう？どういう状況でこの電車に
乗り合わせたんだろうと、想像してしまいます。
彼が最後に見たものは何だったんだろう。
と、気になってしまいました。
