Osaka's Shinsekai was a major bustling shopping district, the remains of which are still in fair condition, and the sense of Asia is still flowing through the streets. This exhibition, continuing from the previous "Janjan Portrait" show, will display photographs showing the peculiar characteristics of the area and the people, the smells of Showa hanging in the air.
The photographs were taken in a simple studio constructed in front of a temporarily rented empty shop. The subjects are people carefully selected from amongst the passers-by. Along with this exhibition the photographic works will also be shown at the studio itself.
