ここ最近面白い展覧会がなく、本当に白けておりましたが、ゴールデンウィーク最後の６日にわざわざ国立国際まで行った甲斐がありました。現在のデジタル社会においては絵画などアナログの最たるものだと思いますが、だからこそ癒しを与えてくれるとも言えます。しかし、さらにそれをデジタル社会に溶け込ませれば、今までの癒しとは少々違った快感を味わえるのだと教えてくれたのが、この展覧会です。この展覧会で森村泰昌の作品を観るまで森村泰昌の作品をいいと思ったことはありませんが、今回の作品の展示方法、見せ方で、それは180度変わってしまいました。また、ビル・ヴィオラという作家を知らなかったことがとても恥ずかしくなりました。ある意味、実験的な展覧会と言っていいと思いますが、実験的だから面白くない作品も多々あります。しかし今後のさらなるデジタル社会において今回のような作品群は不可欠になってくると確信してしまいました。これからこの展覧会に行こうと思っておられる方にアドバイスしておきます。ひとつひとつの作品を最短でも３分は観た方がいいと思います。なぜかは行ってからのお楽しみということで…
