This event has ended.

Osaka’s waterways, built by warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, were once central to commercial activity in the city. Now that the majority of goods and people are transported overland, the canals and estuaries have become a place of leisure for the locals. The monochrome photography of Tomio Morimoto explores the people of Osaka’s relationship with the water that surrounds them. 42 works will be on display.
