The Leather Art Works of Hideo Motoike - Dolls, Animals and Contemporary Art
Museum “Eki” Kyoto
This event has ended.
This exhibition introduces the works of leather artist, Hideo Motoike, who was inspired to become a doll maker following an encounter at a antique shop in Rome as a university student. While Motoike’s favored subjects include children and elderly people in everyday scenes, his creations also include life-size animals — made entirely from leather.
