Takako Takeuchi’s works explore the meaning of “connections” in the most literal sense. More important than the installation itself, which are primarily fashioned from cloth soaked in wax, is the landscape in which it is situated, and the role as a bridge between one area to another: in this case, between the mountains and the sea at Kobe port.
