Home to the mouth of the Yellow River and Tai Shan (one of China’s Five Great Mountains), Shandong Province cultivated some of China’s earliest neolithic civilizations, including Dawenkou and Longshan cultures. Through displays of ancient artifacts, this exhibition explores how early Chinese culture and philosophy influenced the course of Japan’s history.
