Educator, poet, and playwright Taketoshi Inui (92) continues to research the folk culture and arts of burakumin regions and explore the imaginations and complexities of ethnological groups through the collection and study of folk masks. This exhibition presents more than 200 masks from his collection, which are to be donated to the museum. Masks from Japan and around the world are on display.
