Keigo Kamiide “Ink Shell”
Yoshimi Arts
This event has ended.
A 6th generation member of the Kutani pottery of “Kamidechoemon”, Keigo Kamiide has felt the heritage of ceramic making in his blood, drawing upon this in his solo exhibitions which awaken a sense of cultural legacy passed down through our ancestors. In 2013 he presented a celebrated solo exhibition at Tokyo’s αM gallery under the direction of Yasuyuki Nakai and here at Yoshimi Arts features the center piece of this exhibition, the autobiographical “Ink Shell”.
