Most famous for her “Cornucopia” series of plant-like forms combining ceramic translucent, pastel-coloured glass, Etsuko Tashima has continued to garner attention throughout her artistic career. This exhibition showcases her latest works, including “Flowers” (2012):in which the artist cast recycled fluorescent light bulbs in the shape of petals supported by pollen-yellow glazed ceramic structures; as well as recent additions to her Cornucopia Series.
