This event has ended.

Tsuyoshi Takahashi’s photography has been displayed at 78 shows over 63 years. He made his debut at the Tokyo Ginza Fuji Photo Salon in July, 1982. Taking up photography with his grandfather’s camera at the age of ten, through self-study he explored themes including landscapes, snapshots, flowers, mountains, people, and seasons. He has published 18 books of film photography.

Surrounded by the Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean, Shikoku’s Mt. Odami Valley is located 750 meters above sea level in southern Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. With a population of just under 20,000, the valley boasts a sculpted beauty created by a 10 kilometer-wide river lined with ancient trees. The mountain’s unusual red stones lend it a mysterious charm, while its abundant nature is well-suited to the rich and deep properties of the film.
