Photographer Takuma Imamura follows the students on an ordinary day at Tokyo Community School, a progressive school that places emphasis on developing their students’ imaginations and sense of independence. Imamura’s images of students’ laughter and their eagerness to learn are, it would seem, a far cry from his own school days.
