This event has ended.

This exhibition of installations by Vallo Riberto makes reference to lucky charms and talismans, specifically the John the Conqureror root — a type of charm that came to America from Africa with the slave trade, and was worn around the neck for good luck toward a variety of applications including sexual power. The title of this exhibition, “Muddy Waters” is borrowed from the American blues singer of the same name, who himself wore such a talisman.
