poster for Henri Cartier-Bresson: An Eye For Small Things

This event has ended.

The 411 photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson MastersCollection, taken between 1926 and 1991 and selected by the photographer himself, are valuable works of art kept by only four institutions— the De Menil Foundation of the U.S., la Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Victoria and Albert Museum of England, and Osaka University of Arts.

This two-part exhibition presents around 80 photographs from the Collection. Part one focuses on photographs of innocent and vibrant children, while part two features scenes of animals in the everyday lives of people. These works shine with the vision of a photographer who possessed a great love for the world around him.
