Tatsuya Ishiodori’s works pursue “the first kind of international beauty that only Nihonga paintings can express.” This exhibition presents more than 40 of his paintings, including new works, ranging from bird and flower paintings with a contemporary sensibility to works based on studies of classical designs, to others created since the March, 2011 disaster.
