Breakers Project is an ongoing community art project which has been running since 2003 and as part of a reflection upon a project facilitated in Sanou, Nishinari district, Osaka since 2011 this exhibition shocases the work of 2 participating artists Haiji Ho and Ko Yamada. Haiji Ho takes up the image of silent memory in a device to connect with the future, while Ko Yamada comes to identify the very process of talking and listening about memory as a creative act and collates these stories in the form of a newspaper, each exploring through different approaches the personal memory which lies outside of written history.
