Science photography has an image of being difficult, but with just a little technique, you can take photos of the world around you from a scientific perspective. Kunio Ichiji is a science photographer who captures natural phenomena using a variety of common materials, and also instructs scientific experiment classrooms.

Science Photography Event in Kyoto (in Japanese)
Focuses on creating art via light and photographing micro worlds using the macro modes of cameras.
*As this is not a photography workshop, participants are asked to review techniques beforehand.

Participants: 20 elementary school children and their guardians each session
Dates: Jul. 26 (Sat) 10:30–12:30 and 14:30–16:30, Jul. 27 (Sun) 10:30–12:30 and 14:30–16:30
Program is the same for each session.
Venue: Fuji Photo Salon Osaka Special Conference Room
Admission: ¥1000
To Bring: Note-taking materials, compact digital camera, charged camera battery, instruction manual
