Under the system which imposed the abolition of feudal domains and establishment of prefectures the Tokugawa family lost their domain of Kishu and left Wakayama with many of their warriors. This exhibition features documents kept by the descendents of these warriors revealing new light upon the feudal rule of Kishu.
