Many people and things were taken into the sea by the great earthquake which occurred on March 11, 2011. Some flowed onto the shores of a distant foreign country, whilst some returned over time. Since 2008, Akiji Chimura has photographed various things which were washed up or abandoned on the seashore at Ibaraki Prefecture. In this exhibition, Akiji Chimura confronts things that have washed up from the great disaster.
