Marie-Ange Guilleminot

This event has ended.

The French artist Marie-Ange Guilleminot has exhibited works at international shows including the Venice Biennale. She now presents the angel’s raiment-themed work “Sea Urchin,” a series of tea bowls titled “As One,” and a set of seven works called “Kimono.” Guilleminot created “Kimono” during her residency at the Kyoto Art Center program in 2005 with the help of the Yuzen dye artist and living national treasure Kunihiko Moriguchi. Reflections on time and space in Japanese culture are essential to understanding Guilleminot’s approach as an artist.

Date: Oct. 4 (Sat) 16:00–21:00
