My mind and eye gravitate towards the constant streaming of images: shapes and colors, shadows lining up just so, sunlight bouncing off buildings (never repeating itself), night versus day, humor and beauty, isolated abstracts, loneliness too. I know beauty and symbolism can be found in the city even if it sometimes appears cold, hard, and busy. (Artist’s statement).
