These photographs are set on islands in the Harimanada zone of the Setouchi Sea, where Harumasa Sho has lived for 25 years. While this area has undergone drastic changes in the past century, becoming both a path to military might in the first half and a symbol of economic development in the second, these photographs observe subtle moments of passing time that quietly but inevitably give way to changes in the landscape.
