Roman Porno is an erotic sub-genre in the Japanese Pink Cinema industry from the Nikkatsu Studio, that lasted from 1971 to 1982. Meaning “Romantic Pornography” in popular culture, Roman Porno’s themes sometimes borrowed from Europe, consisted often of strong female leads. A group exhibition by 11 artists.
