World-renowned Japanese photographer Bunyo Ishikawa exhibits a photo collection under the title “50 years of Vietnam – War and Peace”. Ishikawa was stationed in Saigon and covered the Vietnam War as a photojournalist from 1964 to 1968. His images of the war capture these conflict zones with compassion and conviction.
Fifty years since he first stood on Vietnam soil, and approaching the 40th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war, Ishikawa’s first goal is to help Japanese people learn more about the serious consequences of past wars.
