This event has ended.

Ikuko Hatta is an artist who examines her surroundings through ready-made goods and everyday items. Works such as a hiding place covered in textbooks (2012), a portable space containing items whose whereabouts go unknown (2013), and an escape path made of used, one-sided pieces of cardboard (2013) bring the difficulty of being sure of one’s place in society into sharp relief. This exhibition focuses on installations that create new territories through the discovery of semblances of order and the birth of connections between things.
