Art nouveau came to bloom in 19th century France, with its roots drawing from the Japanese Rinpa School and wider Japonaism, while at the same time subsequent Japanese artists also came to be heavily influenced by art nouveau. In this exhibition 21st century Rinpa School artist Etsuko Tashima unveils a collaboration which reaches beyond the centuries.
