Flowers are cast into the water. At first glance, this unassumingly beautiful world of water appears cruel for the living flowers. However, this cruelty does not end the flowers’ beauty. Rather, in the various dramas unfolding with the flowers and their surroundings, we cannot help but sense a beautiful presence that overlaps with our own lives. Large high-definition photography makes up the bulk of this solo exhibition by Hideki Yamada.
